Aeroplay

Yeah, we’re Aeroplay now. And I’m happy about it because instead of having the confusion over “Para Pro” and the address “ParaPro” we now just have a one-word name. Anyway, our new address is www.Aeroplay.co.nr, and if you go to www.ParaPro.co.nr then you’ll just get linked back to here. So we hope you all had a chance at voting, and overall we had 41 votes. Only two people actually voted for “Other”, and Aeroplay got 19 votes, and the runner-up, bluNitro, had 9 votes. So Aeroplay won by a landslide!

From now on, we are going to work even harder than ever to bring you good quality games, and eventually we will have an MMOG out for you all to play. We’re also growing (just a couple of weeks ago, we were a company of five, now we’re eight!) and we’ve had this company now for about a year (we started it in April ’08). We hope to improve the forums this year, our graphics, and make lots and lots of games! See you all around next time.

Clay 2-Development Notes

We’ve decided to give you all a sneak peak at Clay 2. The sequal to Clay, this will have much nice graphics, longer gameplay, more difficulties, plus bonuses. Also, the blocks will come out in a random order, and there will also be an occasional wild block which can be placed anywhere. There will be an unlockable minigame in tetris style, which will be pretty hard. In all, it is estimated that the game should consume about an hour and a half or more of your time!

Now, enough with the telling, and we’ll start showing! Below are the blocks being used in the game. [image may be updated in the future]

Currently those are only just first drafts, not finals. The rainbow colored one is the wild block.

We are going to create member only things. There are going to be two different memberships: silver (free version, just needs email activation), and gold (paid version: this would be a one time payment)

Silver membership benefits:

• Extra graphics
• Inside looks on upcoming games
• Monthly newsletter (you don’t have to sign up for anything if you want the RSS feed)

Gold membership benefits:

• Special edition graphics
• Exclusive games only for members
• Members only newsletter
• Sneak peaks at what’s happening inside the circle of staff members

Plus information about the website, updates, and many other things that you don’t get with silver!

In the future, we are going to have a whole other Gold Members’ website. The cost for gold is going to be $5 at this time, but once we get some exclusive games it will go up to $15 (so get it ASAP!)

World Poverty Contest

Instead of just having us create graphics about world poverty, we’ve decided to hold a contest. The rules are listed below:

• You have to be 12 or older to enter
• You must have a valid email address (or a parent’s permission to use their’s)
• All graphics must be 1280 (width) by 720 (height) in pixels
• No use of stock art or the like is allowed, unless used to create a collage (several photos put together)
• No text unless it says, “World Poverty“, “Who Cares?“, or “Make A Difference“

Prize:

As a prize you will recieve a special package of images, not shown here on the website! You graphics will also be on the new upcoming “Featured” page.

Send in your entries via email, with the subject labeled, “World Poverty Contest”. Email it to ParaPro.co@gmail.com.

Entries must be received by Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at noon your time.
